There is a great deal of historical value built in to the Civil War Bullet Pen. The front end of the pen is a replica of the bullet that was shot from the 45 caliber revolvers of the civil war era. On the back end of the pen is the 58 caliber mini ball which was fired from the Springfield black powder rifle shown on the clip. This musket was used by both sides of the war, along with the 44 revolver. The ridges along the 58 cal. bullets were meant to remove any leftover gunpowder in the barrel when fired. This is a heavy, sturdy feeling pen, known for having good ba
lance.  This pen comes a Parker Style ballpoint with black ink. Each Civil War Pen comes with a small pamphlet with the historical symbolism and details of the pen, making this an even more unique and meaningful gift. Regardless whether you root for the North or the South, this pen is sure to thrill any history buff.
